Didn't receive a thank you? Didn't receive a thank you by who? The 40,000 you speak of or the idiots on the panel. I would assume most if not all of the rescued thanked the crews. I wouldn't expect the idiots on the panel to thank them. That wasn't their agenda.

Quite the contrary, Snakes. It was widely reported shortly after the rescues stopped that certain groups invariably said thank you ... but the vast majority never expressed one whit of gratitude.
