I compare France to the mid- to upper-level manager who loses his high-paying job, doesn't tell his wife, and spends all the savings and runs up the credit cards to maintain his same lifestyle, while waiting for a new job opportunity to present itself without looking himself.
In the end, his only hope is to get realistic and honest about his situation and find a new approach himself.
So France needs a crisis-intervention therapist?
