"This is the bane of liberalism. Our laws are what count. This murderer was convicted and sentenced to death. No evidence has been produced that would counter that verdict. He should die, as he should have 26 years ago (disgusting onto itself)...what Europeans think better not enter into this AT ALL. It is AMERICAN LAW, AMERICAN COURTS and an AMERICAN DEATH PENALTY. Nothing else should enter into it."
I couldn't agree more! I simply think that Arnold has too many European habits that are difficult to overcome when pressed.
On my last trip to Europe, I hardly met anyone who didn't tell me something they felt was wrong about America. The death penalty subject came up out of the blue....most of the complaints were about the war and re-electing President Bush. I think the European aversion to the death penalty comes from guilt, but they fail to differentiate between our state-sponsored execution of a guilty man and their past state-sponsored genocide. Them's two different things.
Actually, what you have suggested leads only to one conclusion -- that California must deign to elevate cookie to his lower-level deity status, actualizing the proto into the incubae by freeing cookie from this mortal coil. It's the only fair thing to do.
He has taken 4 lives! 4!Maybe more.
That works for me.
