Very true. Nobody takes a thing with them when they die. It just becomes "where ya goin' next, friend?" However, when you can't pay the bills or put food on the table, winning the Lotto looks like the answer to all your problems. And it might be, in the short run.

This stupid family should have done something with this whack job years ago instead of pretending that there was nothing wrong!Bingo!
To: Billthedrill
You're always free to sell at market share if it garners you the cash to pay off the loan.

Even after you've defaulted? (It's pretty obvious I never had a $200 million loan, isn't it?)

Yep even if you've defaulted. When you default, the lein holder has every right to recoup it's money, but no more. They can't take your stuff and sell it cheap to spite you. If you can sell it for a higher price and take the difference that's your perogative.

Got a banking question.... If the beatles music catalog's is worth 1 billion. and he has used it as collateral, if they foreclose does that mean the entire value goes to the Bankers or is it sold and money above the servicing of the debt is returned to Jacko?I don't think he owns it entirely, plus I think it reverts back to Sir Paul, who turned down the opportunity to purchase it back.

And where is the mother of the children in all this? Did she completely sign away all her rights?
To: LYSandra
It's the father who is REALLY in denial. I think the mom washed her hands of all this stuff years ago.

Childhood fame sure is grand, ain't it?
Well, at least McCauley Culkin turned out fine...
