On another but related matter,I've got a stuboorn pop-up in registry files. Do you the Freeper site that addresses such issues?

Pop up blockers usually work but it could also be a cookie on your machine. If it continues you can run a regedit cleaner or just go to your regedit and delete it if you know exactly what file it's in. There are some free sites that can scan your system and show you where the pester files are but most cleaners have to be bought.
