I have yet to see any evidence that a single fundamentalist was involved in this case at all. That Mirecki's colleagues made him resign his chair, and that the sheriff is highly suspicious of his story, appear to be indications of where this whole thing is heading.

Do you have some problem with fundamentally believing Christians? Is there something wrong with believing that the Bible is the the word of an inerrant God, and believing him to be the only true God? Not all Christians can be summed up by the actions of a few. To do so, is stereotyping at it's fullest form. I would say instead that the vast majority of Fundamentalist Christians are actually people of the utmost character, and dignity. It's a shame that some people like yourself lump us together due to extremists like abortion clinic bombers.
