You mean, other than the fundamentalist state senators who threatened KU's funding if they didn't deal with him? And the fundamentalists who inflitrated his mailing list to report on what he posted there?
That Mirecki's colleagues made him resign his chair, and that the sheriff is highly suspicious of his story, appear to be indications of where this whole thing is heading.
If you believe his colleagues made him do this, I have some land in Florida you might be interested in.
So you're calling him a liar, then? He says his colleagues made him resign.

It's about time somebody did something about the political crap that passes as education nowadays. I'm not an ID person, but if it's false, then teaching it as "mythology" is nothing but a political statement. It's a worthless, futile academic exercise, something akin to Women's or Gender Studies. State universities need not be the playing grounds for stupid crap when they can and should be centers of learning and academic excellence.
And the fundamentalists who inflitrated his mailing list to report on what he posted there?
It's on the internet, it's fair game. It says in the report that it was a message board.
