To me, saying the display was "ruined" because of the use of the peace symbol without knowing the homeowner's mindset, given the time of year, is being very narrowminded and quite unfair.

Sorry but those folks have made my life miserable. Perhaps it was the leftist who spit on my son before he spent Christmas in Afghanistan that was a total turnoff for me. Who knows. I can tell you that it was a total repulsion as soon as I saw the symbol.

I understand and appreciate your negative reaction to what has become for many, a symbol and a tool for an agenda that is anti-American and completely opposite of what peace really means.

However, I'm not yet at the point that has me thinking the worst........until I know better, I'm still holding out hope for the best.
