Apparently she was there this past Monday.
They LOVE commie dictators like Hugo and Fidel, and why isn't he dead yet?
Because its dumb.. very dumb.. Shes a Constitutional lawyer not a teenie bopper cheer leader..
Typical. At one point someone asked her about abortion during incest or rape. And she went into an answer on the lines of 'If a life came into being by incest, it should stil have life. If you came into being by a case of incest should i have the right to be able to go up and shoot you.' But then said 'Well, if comes down to it, would you be on our side for the 1.4 million abortions a year if abortion could be done on circumstance on rape and incest', then yes, ill agree to make those exceptions.
Her answer completely followed the question logically, but for some reason some hecklers were screaming in the middle "ANSWER THE QUESTION! ANSWER THE QUESTION!!", so she pauses and was like "we need to get these people down to guatanomo bay, im trying to answer and all i get is 'ANSWER THE QUESTION!' Perhaps these people could get some answers out of the terrorists!"
Cindy Sheehan already spoke. I did not attend but i hear there were some conservatives in the audience and of course completely respectful. During question and answer many conservatives asked logical questions and many times she had nothing to say, stuttered, and just said next question please.
Nothing like Ann Coulter, do you think Sheehan or any leftist "celebrity" could handle a crowd like her? I can't beleive Sheehan was the're answer for her.
STORRS, Conn. - Conservative columnist Ann Coulter gave up trying to finish a speech at the University of Connecticut on Wednesday night when boos and jeers from the audience became overwhelming. of hate and intolerance.

Well, they decided how their going to report on it. Dont know if this should get its own thread.
bump!
I was in the section to the right of the stage (facing Ann) and back about 50 feet or so. Not THAT far back really... the full out applause was pretty a fairly limited group mostly within about 15 feet of the reserved area right in front of the stage.
From my observation point, about half the crowd were mostly quiet and trying to listen, although many of them seemed to doubt that she had anything important to say and a full 1/3 of the crowd were very actively outspoken against her, muttering constantly and occasionally quipping something stupid at a volume they seemed to believe Ann could hear from the stage.
It wasn't the cheerful reception she may have gotten at Virginia Tech or A&M.
The constant muttering made it very difficult to hear and many of them seemed incredibly closed minded considering these our the young and upcoming stars intending to run the country soon.
Hey, lighten up. This is a fun thing, that's all.
Please Freepmail me if you want on or off my infrequent Connecticut ping list.
[...above folks appeared as squares...]
I agree. (Just thought of Pat Boone.) The Birchers
carried the torch and were a presence during the 60's.
Still are. Andy Rooney may not be a Republican, (CBS
curmudgeon Andy Rooney indicated yesterday he believes
the controversial documents on President Bush's National
Guard service are fake and said it could cost Dan Rather
down the road. "I'm surprised at their reluctance to
concede they're wrong," Rooney said, referring to CBS
brass.), but at least he is a Zimmerman liberal. I can
live with that. The appearance of being square had a lot
to do with the media as well. Remember what they did to
Anita Bryant? She was cool, until she spoke out about
homosexuality.
:)
JOHN BIRCH (1918- August 1945) was an American intelligence officer and a Baptist missionary in World War II who was killed by armed supporters of the Communist Party of China.
His parents were also missionaries and he was brought up in the Southern Baptist tradition. He graduated from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and in 1940 arrived in China. He involved himself in missionary work, and in intelligence work against both the Japanese and the Chinese communists.
He was killed by Chinese communist forces in 1945, apparently after he refused to disarm. A portion of the American right consider him a martyr, the first American victim of the Cold War. The ultraconservative John Birch
Society, formed 13 years after his death, is named in honour of him.

It won't be long now till liberals get violent.

Uh, maybe you missed: Lee Harvey Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan, The Weather Underground, The Black Panthers, The Nation of Islam, SDS, John David Hinckley, PETA, ELF, Earth First, just to name a few.
Agree with you that she appears 'off stride' lately. . .the 'pie throwing' probably did not help - and the other attempts to 'shout her down and out'.. .and as well, I think are taking a toll. . .and then the criticisms from her 'own'. . .some cancellatitons of her column, etc. . .she really does take more than few hits here.
She probably cannot take even some 'down time'. . .lest it look like a win for the nazi-like, intolerant Lefties- protesting her 'intolerance'. . .
All conjecture as to 'impact'. . .but yes. . .she is in a different groove. I hope she is okay. . .
Pity they weren't spanked for that as toddlers, now it will take a lot more work.
