MEHLMAN: John Kerry was on Face the Nation this past weekend and he talked about American troops terrorizing Iraqi people, going into Iraqis' homes. I thought that was an incredibly irresponsible comment. If that was the sum total of Mehlman's statement, where's the "shameful filthy lie?"

The Democrats, Reid and Kerry are doing themselves huge damage. People will remember what Dean and Murtha and Kerry and Reid have said over the past two weeks. It crossed a line; its the kind of thing you remember. 'Broken.' 'Defeated' 'Terrorizing women and children.' Now many more of those swinging centrist voters will know for sure the Dems are not to be trusted with the defense of the country. They have demonstrated it very clearly now and shown just how dangerous they are.

This is a perfect example on how politics have changed. In the bad old days when Rats would say something stupid, the MSM wouldn`t question them and would just let the statement die, like Sceiffer did.
Can`t do that any more. The new media will hold them accountable and that`s killing the Rats. In order to win their parties nomination, they have to win the support of their kook base. When what they had to say to get that is revealed by the NEW MEDIA, they sound foolish and they lose the rest of us. Its a trap and they can`t escape.
