What I can't understand is why the aych-ee-double-toothpics they'd choose this song to perform when there are tons of other holiday songs out there that wouldn't have to be altered.

My school chorus got around concern over too many religious carols by singing many of the "classics" in their original language. Examples: Silent Night in German. Angels We have Heard on High in French. O Come All Ye Faithful in Latin.

Whoever owns the rights to 'Silent Night' should sue the school...and anyone else that rips off their song and pastes new words on it.
