Re the Graph: I said 100 times as much CO2, whereas its more like 12 times. I must be spending too much time looking at the sun ...

The author seems to me to be pretty well versed in just how little we know about global temperatures and the causes of changes in it. I would say this author knows a lot more about the subject than the standard Bush is causing global warming scientist.Agreed. The scientist interviewed in the article is rather interesting, and there's no, repeat no, Gorellian science.

My wife said thats how she knows God is a man, if a woman had control of the thermostat there would be no winter.

I came home yesterday to see it set at 77... I am thinking of buying one that has a lock on it.

Momma always told me not to look into the eyes of the sun. But Momma, that's where the fun is.

Electric, we have a water furnace with a lake loop, its inexpensive but when she cranks it up the emergency heat kicks in (re: worlds largest toaster) and the meter display outside looks more like a landing Huey than anything else.

I'm just sure that this giant, radiation emitting fusion machine, and the 325k cubic mile molten iron core just under our crust, have little effect on our temperature compared to our activities.

I've always found it intriguing and a good topic of conversation among friends to ponder how long we would survive if the sun suddenly extinguished...hours? days?
Whataya think?

There would be a rush for the mines and caves. Some could live there for quite some time. Majority of others dead in a week?
