Our educational system wishes to award murderers; this is not surprising.
Liberal theological question: What if Tookie killed Cindy Sheehan?

Is Saddam next?
But in the real world, who cares? Nobel Prizes are so yesterday.

"His contributions to anti-gang activities; his children's books and his role in negotiating gang truces has had effects in the United States and internationally," Gasper told AFP.

What Tookie has proved himself deserving of is an Acadamy Award. Give the guy an Oscar, for crying out loud. Something solid he can hold onto as the lethal juices of justice flow through his veins.

Thankfully, this will all be moot at 12:01 a.m. December 13th.

This, in a nutshell, is the leftist mindset: Viciously slaughter four innocent people and you're the martyr. |
I wonder if "Professor" Philip Gasper would be so supportive if Tookie was Caucasian...

Thats ALL these "awards" are. Just a self-gratifying way for liberals to gain some perverted sense of legitimacy. These awards may have been genuine at some point in the distant past, but everyone now knows that they have long ago been hijacked by leftists, and is the case with everything they touch, they have turned something good and meaningful into worthless, meaningless trash.

There's more to this relationship, that's what I'm thinkin'.
