Less than 1% of those polled believed that the forces were responsible for any improvement in security.

Eighty-two per cent of those polled said they were strongly opposed to the presence of the troops.

The paper said the poll, conducted in August by an Iraqi university research team, was commissioned by the Ministry of Defence.

I wish 80% of Murtha's constituents wanted him out. Unfortunately, he will be reelected with about that majority of votes.

Naturally this is from Al-Jazeera, the DNC's Middle East news agency.

This reminds me of the British group that came up with an estimate of 100,000 Iraqis killed by the coalition forces, a number pulled out of thin air, which was then cited over and over again by opponents of the US presence in Iraq.

So this so called poll probably was first reported by none other than Al Jazeera and then probably copied as "news" by the Telegraph.

I bet Hitler's disinformation campaign never had it so easy as our enemies today do with our own Congressmen and women repeating what the enemies write as fact!!!
