McCafferty is a dinosaur. He is an old WW2 style heavy armor General who has never gotten over Rumsfield dragging the Pentagon Dinosaurs kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. He has ZERO experience in Counter Insurgency/Terrorism ops. The only reason people like NBC hire him to be their "military expert" is he can be relied upon to regurgitate the DNC directed Spin Lie of the day being put out by NBC (Nothing But Crap) "News".

The MSM and the Democrats are going to get us all killed. They had better learn how to speak and spit at the same time, because Arabic is going to be the language of choice in this country if they do not shut up!!!!!

FYI..NY POST reported yesterday that Katie Couric may well announce her decision on going to CBS as early as tomorrow...Matt obviously read that, and realized that in the last few days he'd strayed off the reservation ( as you have pointed out ) so he felt the need to re-establish his
bona fides. And as always, a well written piece..

The Dems have two positions on Iraq: Cut-and-run now. Cut-and-run a little later.
It's still a cut-and-run.

The bigger question is, "Why are the MSM so obviously biased against Republicans and selectively report only the things that will damage Republicans?
The answer is that the MSM have a dog in this hunt. They are losing market share to other forms if information dissemination, like this one, Fox News, talk radio, etc.
The MSM would clearly like more legislation which limit information flow through channels other than their own. Obviously, this is much more difficult to accomplish with Republicans in control.
Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that the MSM are selectively reporting the news in a way to reduce Republican majorities and increase the MSM's chances to accomplish through legislation a return to their previous dominance that the free market no longer allows.

I can't take credit for that one. Saw it on other posts and liked it. You dualized it in a way I didn't consider. Works for me!

RE: The Good General
I can remember when he was Clintoon's "Drug Czar" where he obviously failed miserably.
I remember footage of him presenting an award to some mexican law enforcement big wig and speechifying about what a gallant ally we have in our war on drugs. Later the big wig was proven to be corrupt and in cahoots with the traffickers. Ouch!
THIS is how I remember McC: A dupe, blinded by his own sense of his majesty.

The MSM is the propaganda wing of the democrat party. They will do anything to further their party, even to the detriment of this country. This has always been so. They have just become more brazen about it. And they are seeing their empire collapse around their feet and they are getting desperate.
