That the Democrat leadership is in the hands of such weak reeds as Dean, Kerry, Pelosi, Murtha etc is more proof, if more proof is needed, that the Democrat party is in serious decline fighting for survival.

A study of political parties will show that when a party begins to unravel it attracts the dregs of the party. No one of statue will associate with a loser. People who would not ordinarily ever gain power fill the slots as they are deserted by better men and women.

Consider: Democrats have lost election after election on every level, local, state and national. They can attract money only from fat-cats, foreign sources and special interests. Their socialist programs, from the welfare-state to universal health care, have lost what little appeal they ever had. They are a negative force in politics filled with hatred and malice. They are burnt out.

It is sad to see what these people are doing to the once great Democrat party. But, for everything there is a season.
