Chirinjeev is a little off-kilter. The Trib really went after him during the Senate primary and while I didn't buy all of it there was certainly enough to make me wonder about the guy. He ended up finishing dead last, even behind Norm Hill.

Given liberal newspapers penchants for kneecapping in the most brutal fashion of non-Caucasian GOP candidates, I'd find any profile of a negative persuasion to be highly suspect.

BTW, after reading another thread regarding Bill Brady, he may also be damaged goods because of his strong links to the GOP establishment (think of him as a Topinka-lite). In which case, we may quite literally be left with no suitable candidates for the Governorship. Might have to endorse the Constitution Party candidate Scufflebutt.
