A friend and neighbor of mine grew up in the same neighborhood as "tookie" and after a brief discussion with my friend... was told pretty much what i already know. That this man could never be helped, he is a barbarian POS "******" as my neighbor put it (and he is black also). My neighbor was one of the few to actually bust his ass in the area in high school and got a full ride to Oklahoma University and then onto playing for the Detroit Lions, as well as the CFL. Oh... he also has a masters in Bio Chemistry.

Hehe. He still sounds like a thug. :) I've learned to never judge a book by its cover by my friend.

Jeff Katz (on KNEW in SF) had me in stitches this afternoon. He was saying that - on the positive side - Tookie can go into the grocery store and just grab a carton of milk or cottage cheese. He doesn't have to dig for the ones in the back as he doesn't have to worry about the expiration dates.

The only expiration date that matters now is Tookie's own.

Let's see what is considered fair? He was judge, jury and executioner in a matter of moments so his victims were not even given a choice of life.

His victims never had the opportunities that was given to him through the years. Never given the opportunity to write children books nor to be nominated for a tin Nobel peace whatever.

I say let the man go when his victims arise from the dead. Yup, that should be fair. Give him the same amount of consideration and thought that he gave his victims.
