Yes, if it happened. He drove himself to the hospital so that probably means no witnesses.
There are people who do bad or stupid things thinking they are serving God so it's possible it's true.

Yes, if it happened. He drove himself to the hospital so that probably means no witnesses. At 6:45 am here, it is still quite dark. I'm SURE the professor got out of his car to confront the scary people following him while in the dark with no other people around...
