Dean's plan was soundly defeated. The Dem's should keep Howard Dean as long as possible.
I just love to use him as an example during political discussions. A resonable person may say say 'not all democrat's think this way'. I just have to say 'that may be true but look at the democrapic leadership' and the argument is won. It has so many parallels in history it overwhelms them immediately.
I feel the same way about Bella Pelosi (quotation credit, Michael Savage). They make me mad, but they're such idiots that I know we could never get anybody as ineffectual in those jobs. Reid is the same way in the senate, now that I come to think about it. The only thing that worries me is that the enemy doesn't know they're clowns, they think they represent a serious portion of the population, and they draw courage from these kinds of statements. Saddam draws encouragement from them. So this I think is what Mike was getting at. These people really do need to be shut up so they stop getting our people killed. It's not a theoretical exercise that it might endanger the troops but "they have a right." It's about, to use their phrase, "our troops are dying every day" because of their seditionist talk. There simply have to be some limits set as to how far they can go.
"No one is completely useless in that he may serve as a poor example."
