Right - Ron is the demo and Mike is Conservative...

The Dem's should keep Howard Dean as long as possible. I feel the same way about Bella Pelosi (quotation credit, Michael Savage). They make me mad, but they're such idiots that I know we could never get anybody as ineffectual in those jobs. Reid is the same way in the senate, now that I come to think about it. The only thing that worries me is that the enemy doesn't know they're clowns, they think they represent a serious portion of the population, and they draw courage from these kinds of statements. Saddam draws encouragement from them. So this I think is what Mike was getting at. These people really do need to be shut up so they stop getting our people killed. It's not a theoretical exercise that it might endanger the troops but "they have a right." It's about, to use their phrase, "our troops are dying every day" because of their seditionist talk. There simply have to be some limits set as to how far they can go.

While I agree that Dean, being a guy, should be hung, he should also be hanged for treason... pour encourager les autres.

"Michael Reagan, son of the late President Ronald Reagan, is blasting Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean for declaring that the U.S. won't be able to win the war in Iraq, saying Dean ought to be "hung for treason."
Or at the very least throw him in jail and forget where you put the key!

American Heritage usage panel gives an OK to hung, meaning hung by the neck till dead, but preference to hanged.

I think the charge of treason can only be levied against a government official. No way is that true.

In today's USA, there is no such thing as treason. That's because in today's USA, there's no such thing as a Declaration of War.

By calling for the hanging of Dean, Reagan is taking the only course he can to get this outrageous statement of Dean's into the news.
Now, watch the MSM pile on Reagan for promoting violence and a specific violent crime against Dean. They will demand a Special Prosecutor - or at least a billion-dollar civil lawsuit - and meanwhile demand an apology from the RNC for fomenting political hate and vicious partisanship through Ken Mehlman's "intemperate statement" about Dean.
Then, sometime during the investigations and trials of the next three or four years, Michael Reagan's actual words might leak out into the media and get reported - somewhere in the 12th paragraph or as a 5 second voiced-over sound bite. Then, Dean's words will at last be made public by the "reputable" news organizations.
But, at least it's a start!

I wish, just once, one of these DUmmies would defend their justification of the genocide that would follow our withdrawal without first allowing Iraq to secure and defend its own sovereignty.
I figure their blind hatred of Bush leaves little room to contemplate anything else....I guess that's why they are called DUmmies....

Dean is doing as much for the Democrat Party as Cardinal Law is doing for the Catholic Church.
Two major symbols of Pernicious minds at work.

"Aside from the practical problem of the fact that Dean has no neck,..." AND that he looks like he's always on the verge of burping - didja all ever notice that??
