I am sorry for you....
I wouldn't work in Washington for nothing...not even a guarantee of living in heaven.... I understand your comments but strongly disagree with something you typed after "......there are so few from our media and our politicians who can qualify as good people..."
then you typed....
I don't think so, I think good people are subverted and perverted by the culture of career bureaucrats in Washington. I know a few of those very well, and Washington is a strange place, and strange things happen to people when they work there.
where I disagree is that good people are not subverted and perverted by the culture of career bureaucrats in Washington. I know the neighborhood is tough, but good people are never subverted and perverted by the culture of career bureaucrats.... if this is all it takes to be perverted and subverted....He!! will visit this nation for its lack of "good people" Good people make mistakes sometimes, just as I believe our President is making a terrible mistake concerning illegals...but the whole picture of DC reminds me of a swamp full of alligators and yes these alligators care not a whiff about you...they only like to lay in the water and when hungry eat ......
the situation for any citizen keeping up with what is actually taking place is distressing at best....and disheartning at worst...and then we have people who stomp on the best amongst us...those placing their lives on the line to hopefully keep us safe and then I and other citizens become even more dismayed..... I at this point know
I'll have to agree to disagree with you.... and maybe only the ruins await us.....Time will tell.
Thank God, I have never worked in Washington, just had relatives that did. You speak a lot of truth, we aren't far apart actually, I'm just cutting some of them more slack than you are. It is a slime pit, no doubt about it. But, it's our slime pit, the cleanest slime pit around.
Something tells me you probably like my fellow Coloradan named Tancredo.
