snugs, thanks for, once again, bringing us some wonderful pictures. President Bush and Laura look so happy and relaxed with the kids....and the kids look like they're comfortable with them!
How is your Mum? And your Dad?

Thanks for the Dose .. the Prez is looking perked up, animated and ready to take on the world again. It's good to see .. I hope he realizes what a difference his presence and voice makes. I love the suit and tie he's wearing today .. very elegant.
How's your Mum doing? This am, trudging to the bus stop, it was -5, with the wind chill .. 4 degrees without .. LOL... some difference, huh? Talk about looking like a Sumo wrestler .. covered in many layers and things. Just now really finally thawed out.
They played a comment of Rummy's from his John Hopkins speech today at the end of Brit's show tonight .. he was cute. I could watch him speak for hours .. he's SO fascinating. And Ms. Condi was sure coming on strong today, from what I've read .. she's one tough and amazing woman .. just what we need to shake up the global libs. I would love that gorgeous long coat she wore today .. except with a fur lined hood .. LOL.

Hi snugs. I'm so grateful to see another Limited Edition of our Dose. Thank you for your diligence.
That first picture -- W looks as though he's talking to the Dosers.

Oh no contest at all!
I remember when Redford was young. Who would have thought that he would age so poorly!

I have seen Tina Turner life several times & she puts on an extra ordinary show.. So vital.. she never stops shaking & moving (is was only a few years ago I saw it the last time).. I love her music..
I also like Redford professionally.. politically... well, another story. He has had a few bombs movie wise but mostly I have enjoyed his work & think he is a very handsome man. His smile melts one. I respect the fact he has NOT go for any cosmetic surgery despite the fact most men in Hollywood of his age have. His face is now a road map of sorts. he also has been true to his marriage & it is a long term one with a fine woman. I do adore suzanne Farrell.. wonder if she stayed over for the Nutcracker..

Mum should be going back to the home tomorrow. She will be going to the nursing wing. One unfortunate thing she had a fall on Sunday, the Sister in charge of the ward had warned me that several times she had tried to get out of the chair and walk and they had caught her. On Sunday they did not probably attending to someone else and the next they knew she was on the floor. Does not appear to have done any damage she will get final once over tomorrow and if all OK she will be transferred back to the home either tomorrow or Wednesday.
When she fell she hit her head on the plaster on her arm so she is likely to have a black eye in a couple of days.
By the way I made a port and rabbit casserole on Sunday and took some of that into her and she really enjoyed that.
Dad had his pre cardioversion appointment at the hospital which advises patients what will happen etc. Tomorrow he has a biopsy on a nasty place on his ankle.
I will post a photo I took of mum today in a few minutes
