Who else will run? Kerry won't stand a chance again, they hate Lieberman, Edwards looks like Chucky, and no one lese has any star power. She still has to win in 2006 right? Maybe she will lose but I am not sure if NY can get anyone and the money to beat her in ny.

Most of the obvious Democrat candidates are has-beens like Biden, Edwards, Lieberman, Gore, and Kerry. Hillary must hope that the war has faded as an issue by 2008 (if Bush hurries up the withdrawal of troops, then maybe the anti-war activists will be less angry with her by then...and if Iraq becomes a disaster as a result, then the issue of Iraq may help her).

I don't know who the Kennedy wing has to push other than Kerry (Patches is not a credible candidate for President). Hillary will be the candidate of the Clinton/DLC part of the party. Who would be the leader of the Deaniacs? Feingold?

Other potential candidates are Ed Rendell (Pa.) and Mark Warner (Va.)...I don't know where they stand on the cut-and-run issue.
