There has been so much done in 2005, it's hard to square his statements with reality on the ground unless maybe he is working from information gathered at the"low point" in morale, mid-late 2004.

I get the same thing from my nephews. Also the higher than expected retention figures especially among those serving in Iraq support what you are saying. What the Dems and the media are doing is a huge travesty.
