Wow! I don't remember ever getting anything other than courteous treatment from a government official. Either it comes down to where I live, or how I act going in. Which do you think?

Here in Minnesota, you're very likely to be treated nicely by any government official you encounter. Maybe things are different in Texas.

Of course, I always am friendly and polite with people who are going to provide me with a service. That may be part of the reason.
