Bush Job Approval at 47% (Rasmussen)
Rasmussen Reports ^
In the Breaking News sidebar.
DIMS: "We are deeply saddened..."
Finally-the numbers are no longer moving backwards, they are moving forward.
The President needs to stay on the offensive and keep talking to the American people about how things will work in Iraq.
The only poll that counted was taken last November. It's outcome was voiced by a clear majority won by the largest voter turnout in our history. That is the only poll I will run with until the next Presidential "poll" in 2008 and iss also the one the President certainly should base his administration's policy on.
And I believe he is and applaud him for doing so.
see tagline
It was Gallup and I was fully prepared to be asked slanted questions etc. Didn't happen. The interviewer went out of his way to remain neutral.
I was favorably impressed.
48%???? I live in Turkey and was watching bbcworld and they can not stop talking about how his approval ratings are in the low 30's. Last week one of the reporters said 20's. It is nice to see that the only english news agency I have access to on the tv is accurate.
(That is sarcasm....)
Let's see if these poll numbers will somehow be worked into every headline and news story of the msm, as was the case with his 36% rating. I'm sure they, being unbiased as they claim, will give this equal play.
And climbinG! On it's way to 51%!!!
So, cince we've heard the last about sinking poll numbers they'll act like it never existed, they never said it, and if they did say it, it was only because President Bush is a doody-head. /sarc
Kind of like when they were trying to say the sky was falling with gas prices..now that they came back down, nothing.
They'll find something else to whine about soon. They always do.
Lets hope this keeps going up
i will feel better about 06 if we can get Bushie into the mid 50s range of approval
The President earns Approval from 80% of Republicans, 20% of Democrats, and 41% of those not affiliated with either major party. Fifty percent (50%) of men approve of the President's job performance along with 46% of women.
I'd have to go look at the last few polls for the Indy and Dem approval numbers, but I'm pretty certain he wasn't at 80% approval from Reps for a little while. Now we're getting back into his normal territory. The president always had consistently (enviable for other pols) high standing among his base. That he lost that approval is why the numbers dropped. It's returning with force now. I'm in the Indy category and my approval was strongly back a few weeks ago.
