I don't know if you watch any of the Sunday Talk shows or not...but I was proud, and a little surprised at Brit Hume today...

I have always thought he is the fairest of all of the lead anchors...and very well spoken, but this morning, he came right out and said, what almost all of the politicians and the media have tiptoed around for a couple of weeks now...

He said that talk of withdrawal at ALL sends a signal of surrender...and that President Bush should just take that whole subject off the table re: the future "plan".

We all know that is isn't going to be like WW11, with "peace treaties" signed between two countries...so ANY discussion of withdrawal is reminiscent of what we did in Vietnam..and the USA should never go down that "verbal route" again, IMHO.
