I don't think Islam, at least as it is now practiced, should be permitted to leave the Earth.
a. who wants to deal with homicide bombers in an artificial pressurized environment in a near-vacuum?
b. IF there are ETs, and IF we ever meet 'em, why should we run the risk of instant Holy War?
If there are ETs, Muslims would not be welcome.
