Looks like the Iraqis "get it".

I hope the actual vote will be fore the secular government, which will be a major blow to the terrorists, and IRAN, which has been trying to influence Iraq by supporting the terrorists and the religious parties.

Excellent news, if true. What is really needed there is the overcoming [or erasure] of religious and tribal identities - an extremely tall order.
