GWB bundled up against the cold yesterday as he left the White House.

And playfully swinging his arms in the cold while smiling at the photographer. You can almost hear the crunch of leaves under his feet.

The presidential Christmas card this year was painted by noted American artist Jamie Wyeth. It is a beautiful rendering of the South Portico of the White House, flanked by the Jackson magnolia under a blanket of snow. The President and Mrs. Bush’s pets, Barney and Miss Beazley, and India the cat, are pictured in the foreground, frolicking on the South Lawn.

The First Lady and this year's White House gingerbread house. This year’s gingerbread house is unusual because it features the North Portico of the White House, rather than the South Portico, which is what has traditionally been depicted. Barney and Beezie are depicted playing in the snow.
