We are having our Christmas parade tomorrow. My grandaughter goes to a private Christian school and they have a float and the bigger kids are marching. We have lights and crosses and nativity scenes all thru the neighborhood and non retail businesses.

The majority of the floats in the parade last night, rgardless of who's float it was, is towed by a piece of fire equipment from one of the many Volunteer Fire Departments in the area. There was actually fire companies from 3 states participating last night.

I love living in a rural, non PC area. There is plenty of the typical Santa, reindeer, etc. type lights and decorations everywhere, but the reliigious nature of the season is also extremely well represented, not only by the churches and private sector, but at retailers and by local governments.

At the "entrance" to another town there is a large lighted Nativity and a Mennorah and a Season's Greeting sign.
