Julian is annoying.
Everyone who has organized anything knows that it takes days to find buses, fuel trucks, and drivers - and get them moving.
Buses guzzle gas/diesel. The closer one got to New Orleans, the more rare fuel would become. Logistics demands would require that FEMA scare up fuel trucks to make sure that any buses sent would be able to leave New Orleans with their passengers. 24 hours isn't near enough time.
This doesn't even take into account that the Feds advised the mayor and governor to evacuate and coordinate an evacuation several days prior to Katrina's landfall, when action might've been possible.
I'd rather have someone like David Asman running the weekend crew. I really don't enjoy watching the weekend edition at all....Wonder what kind of ratings it's pulling in lately?
He's gone beyond annoying to me. His little PC rants have driven me away. I just don't care to watch Fox and Friends weekends anymore and I know I'm not alone. I wonder how much longer it will be before the powers that be at Fox give him his walking papers?

I remember this, b/c FoxNews reported it, when it happened.
Doesn't Julian read his own backgrounders? Or summaries?Maybe he doesn't get them?
