Hugo Chavez, president of Venezuela, contacted the governor's office on Aug. 30. He wanted Blanco to call him back to discuss Katrina. OMG! This...This...I'm gonna SAY it...

However, she does have insurance against the GOP attempting to remove her early... Lieutenant-Governor Mitch Landrieu. A lack of guts also helps her keep her job.

Interesting how concerned the 'rats were about pleasing Chavez, Castro, and Waters. Not surprising, but interesting..... the emails should have said
"have some junior staffer tell Chavez, Waters, and Castro to go XXX themselves. We have better things to do right now than pander to leftist moonbats. Oh, wait, I guess we ARE leftist moonbats here....."

""Louisiana deserves better than this leftist militant moonbat communist goveror""
The interest in Chavez probably has nothing to do with his political slant but the deep involvement between LA and Venezuela in the oil importation and refinery business. EG, Citgo.
