Cop-slay suspect just took a nap

A day after proclaiming his innocence in a jailhouse interview, a Brooklyn man was indicted on Thursday on charges he killed one police officer and wounded another in separate shootings within 10 days of each other.

Police officials said a search of the suspect’s car produced more than 50 small bags of marijuana and shell casings that matched the alleged murder weapon, a 9mm handgun reported stolen in Florida in 1999. They also said that during questioning the suspect admitted being at the scene of the shooting.
