Tom Hamburger's name on anything immediately identifies a leftward slant. It has taken him from Arkansas, to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and now to one of the crown jewels of leftwing media.
I haven't read the article yet, but bet it is a doozy. Maureen Dowd commented in a recent interview that "Journalists are supposed to know how the public will react to one of their stories." A better description of left wing writers has never been uttered, and I doubt that she intended to be so honest.
