E GASDS!!!!! She looks one step away from a coffin. That picture reminds of some of the leftover '60 hippies living in Austin.

What do you expect from Anthony Lewis's wife?

Btw... the Boston Globe pushed her for judgeship and that paper is a subsidiary of The New York (treason)Times.

There's no conflict of interest in The Boston Globe pushing Margaret Marshall's appointment -- Noooooo. /sarcasm

Or in her support for gay marriage given the publisher of the NY Times' homo agenda.

It's VENEZUELA, with three `e's!

Geez, don't validate blue-staters prejudices about us!

"The reference to 'red states' was not part of my written, prepared speech."

Ergo, I didn't really say it. And I can't see what all the fuss is about.

Good grief, that's even worse then - it's what she was THINKING, inadvertently spoken out loud. It's a clear, honest look into her belief system. She's basically Michael Moore in drag.

This is the very reason Anthony Scalia should have been appointed Cief Justice of the Supreme Court. The dems would have no compunction against appointing someone like
Margaret H. Marshall, and then make us suck it up.

I believe Bush lost a tremendous opportunity in not raising Scalia to the post.

If Mrs. Clinton were to win the presidency, look for Maggy Marshall to be elevated to the 9th circuit court of appeals where she'll fit right in.

Marshall is much more "qualified" than Ruth Bader Ginsburg ever was to sit on the US Supreme Court.

She would certainly be on Hillary's short list for a vacancy.

How many more Republicans would vote against her than the 3 who voted against RBG?

When one reads this, "The reference to 'red states' was not part of my written, prepared speech." with the understanding of who said it and in what the forum was, the implication of arrogance is obvious to me. If she was following up with a forthright and sincere apology she might have more correctly stated: 'My reference to 'red states', although not a part of my prepared text was inexcusable and indicative of a prejudicial viewpoint, which a judge MUST remain apart from.' When she starts off with "the" instead of "I", whether intentional or not, she gives her trueself away in the attempt to depersonalize the remark and subtlely detach herself from it. WORDS MEAN SOMETHING AND MUST BE CAREFULLY NOTED

Yet again, another verification of her attempt to detach herself from that which she said: "I regret the comment, and I apologize for it." Sincerity, as I alluded to in another response in this thread, would have caused the comment to read: "I regret my comment, and I apologize for it." The attempt to detach and depersonalize the remark is obvious. Another feckless jurist unwilling to assume 'true' responsibility for her actions or lack thereof.

It was only a spontaneous attempt to connect with the exuberant, celebratory feeling in the audience

Afterall, isn't it clear to everyone that audiences everywhere hate red staters?

Ah yes! BRAVO channel.

BRAVO, the home base of the liberated, irresponsible homosexual elite is the bastard offspring of mainstream left-leaning media giant NBC. NBC was ingested and absorbed into the economic octopus, GE.

Conclusion: The freemarket revels in the licentious understanding that in America,
CURIOSITY + EXPOSURE = GREAT $$$ PROFITS

This is actually an important story masquerading as a stupid little quip story.

Not because she said it - anybody with an IQ higher than jello knows what Mistress Marshall is all about.

It's important because, over the next few days, we must point out the contrast between what would happen if Antonin Scalia made a "blue states" joke at a commencement, and what will not happen to Mistress Marshall.

This is nonjudicial behavior, and it is so egregious that she should be hounded from office.

As if.
