Article. I.

Section. 9. The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.

No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.

Article the seventh [Amendment V]

No person shall... be deprived of life... without due process of law;...

Article the ninth [Amendment VII]

In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Article the tenth [Amendment VIII]

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Article. XIV.

Section. 1.All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

You're operating under the assumption that Terri had the same Constitutional rights as the rest of us. Those who favor exterminating disabled people believe the only right a disabled person has is their murdering spouse's right to privacy.

Thanks for your post. Terri was denied any and all guarantees under the Constitution except the right to privacy which they granted so they could take her life with a guard at the door, a guard in the hall, police presence surrounding the hospice and the Sheriff's Dept. there to help the Pinellas Park PD. Then there was the FBI in plain clothes listening to Vigilers and there were the swat teams positioned with automatic weapons ready to shoot anybody who looked like they were going to jump the brick wall. There were the Wackenhut hired guns to surround the brick wall. I guess they ran out of real cops.

It wasn't my idea of the United States of America to insure that an innocent woman's life would be taken at all costs.
