I just found out one of my high school classmates was the editor of the Sunday Opinion section of the LAT and a protege of Kinsley -- until recently, that is. His name is Bob Sipchen, and I think he's one of the many being axed or shuffled around.

The funny thing is, I was on the school newspaper and I don't recall that he ever was. Never would have expected him to win a Pulitzer, either, but he has two... *sigh*
