The organizations representing these activists have already blamed the US and our president. It didn't take long. That said, I hope they're freed. Naivete and stupidity should not be a death sentence.

Amen....but when we are talking about peacniks and muslims, all bets are out the window.

Here's to praying for the best, and expecting the worst, however I believe as others do that this is a publicity stunt...(or maybe a ROVIAN/CIA plot to see which major Democrat Donors are sending money to terrorists)

Why not?

It is with electricity.
It is with chemicals.
Heck, it's even a death sentence when coupled with GRAVITY.

Why should it be any different with psychotic numb-nuts who have already declared you to be the infidel and sentenced you to death?

Come to think of it, naivete and stupidity have probably killed more people than anything, except old age (for those of us who aren't naive or stupid).

Naivete plus stupidity is the only universal capital offense. If you think that a grizzly is like Yogi Bear, chances are you will shortly be dead.

I disagree.

Repeated naivete and stupidity should be punishable by death. Especially when it comes to war and peace.

People who refuse to learn from the lessons of history have no business affecting other people's lives.

Actually yes it usually is a death sentence. Ask Natalie Holloway.

It is usually naivete and stupidity that land people on the Darwin Awards list that these people are trying to qualify for!

Have they blamed "society" yet? Jeez, anything but badmouthing the people who actually commit the act...
