I posted a thread yesterday about the NY Post’s new screeching anti-gun campaign:

Today’s effort is a real doozy! See if you can follow the logic here:

• This woman’s son was killed because of easy access to guns.
• New York has serious gun laws that work, but they are undermined by lax laws in states like Florida, where its far far easier to obtain a gun, which you can then bring illegally to NYC.
• To escape the dangers of NYC, the woman took her surviving children to Florida, where the problems with kids shooting kids are much less severe.

Did I lose you there? Did you have a little trouble making sense of that?

If you did, you'll never make it in the high-flying intellectual stratosphere that liberal journalists like Andrea Peyser inhabit. You rube.

Um...wouldn't the problem then be NYC, not the guns?

The NYP is good for a NY paper. But they do weird stuff. For example, they drank the McCain koolaid during the 2000 campaign and became completely ridiculous over Him.

Evelyn cried. "Where did he get a gun?" But she knows the answer. Guns are all too easy to get.

WHAT? Has anyone tried to buy a gun lately. The prices are high and government background check are invasive. Event the illegal ones are at least $500 for a stolen pea shooter.

I know she is speaking about illegally gotten guns, but there is no way that a new law would have prevented her tragedy. It is the motives of EVIL people that harmed her son not the weapon. Maybe if the slime who murdered her son would have feared the criminal justice system the murder boy would be alive.

This is part of a carefully constructed plan to ban the sale of guns in other states. MA has already said so.

The logic makes perfect sense to me.

Cars cause accidents.

Victims cause crime.

The US causes terrorism.

Wealth causes poverty.

Guns kill people.

Accidents cause preagnancy.

Jews caused the holocaust.
