Forget "Happy Holidays". It is a non-issue!
To me, "Happy Holidays" means Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas AND Happy New Year! 3 greetings in one. In 35 days we have 3 holidays, a holiday season.
Now, get really pissed when you see the sign:
Merry X-mas.
THAT is crossing out Christ!

Actually I believe "X" was the greek symbol for "Christ" used by early Christians. So, when people write X-mas intending to take Christ out of Christmas, they are actually doing the opposite! G-d works in mysterious ways! I hope Target loses a lot of business for banning the Salvation Army bell ringers.
