Same here.
With few retailers willing to say the vulgar C-word, I've ended up making hand-made gifts this year for my large extended family. I saved a bunch of money, it's much more personal, and I think I'll do the same thing next year.
If others are doing the same, American retailers may be starting a trend that is not in their best interest...
