Buy low, sell high!
I haven't been in the futures and options matkets for some time (too busy with two businesses and a day job). I'd have to look at some charts. The key for me was to recognize when prices were historically high or low, then buy or sell accordingly. Always making sure that I had enough cash reserves to ride it out until prices rose or fell as needed. Gold won't be at this historic high forever, it will fall. The market will see to it. If I was going to "play" gold, I'd look for a good deal in put options at $450 strike, a good distance out, time-wise.
