In the real world, as opposed to PC land, is precisly where it doesn't work. The vast majority of Islamic terrorists are non-white, and it makes no sense not to acknowledge that fact, even if the occasional white terrorist pops up. I've got to go to work now.
As opposed to the "Black American" U.S. soldier, a Muslim, who fragged his comrades?
Or how about the "Black American" Army Chaplain who sold out to the enemy?
Seems it was their religious orientation that caused them to act the way they did, not their race or nationality. Profiling is worthless.
As the President and others have pointed out many times, to stop terrorist attacks, we have to be right every time and the terrorists on have to be right just once.
A perky little white chick with blue eyes and blond hair might just be that "once."
Protecting our cities is not a game of odds where you are willing to take a few loses for the ultimate win.
To be blunt, call me when you're willing to address reality.
One of the "white" jihadis Al Qaeda likes to boast about. I'm rather surprised that they wasted her on a mission in Iraq that an Arab recruit might have as easily performed. She could have been walking around the "Mall of the Americas" before Christmas with a chest pack full of explosives. Then again, except for the NYT and the rest of the MSM, nobody ever accused Al Qaeda of being overly bright.
As with any organization, they have different people groups and levels of proficiency. Look at the World Trade Center bombers, going back to collect the deposit on the rental truck that carried the explosives. Indeed, not very bright.
They were followed up by a team that was able to simultaneously hijack four airliners and steer three of them into high visibility U.S. targets killing many people. That wasn't luck, it was thorough planning by an intelligent enemy.
