I thought this article was a good jumping off point for a discussion about if Steele, running in a very Democratic state, should get some of our finite resources.

Apparently the President and Karl Rove - who do know a thing or two about winning political campaigns - think Mr. Steele is worthy of our support.

Clearly Bush is strongly supporting him. Whether that will help or hurt in a state like Maryland remains to be seen. I just find $500,000 for a Presidential fundraiser to be a frighteningly low $$ haul and I hope it isn't a sign of trouble for Steele.
