Unfortunately you're right.

I am going to Broadway this saturday, but I live in MA where we don't have the right to own firearms. So i'll go rifleless in Manhattan (keeping a hand on my knife and wallet, with a vigilant eye on everyone around me).

I think his point is that we should be fighting to get gun control laws either repealed or declared unconsitutional. We should not be adding more laws that infringe on the inalienable right to keep and bear arms, even if the infringement would be less than under current laws.
