189 million Internet users in this country have a dependency

OH B.S.! Most people work 8 hours a day, many of us 12 or more, sit in traffic going home and then make time for the kids. Dependency my ___. I believe God allowed DARPA to create the Internet so I could learn more easily about things I'm interested in and learn more about places I never would've imagined travelling. The breakdown of the nuclear family, well executed by Democrats over the last 35 years, has done more to ruin "human beings growth" (in general), than any alleged dependency created. You raise an entire generation of kids with one parent (Dinesh D'Souza wrote a scathing chapter about this once in his book "Letters To A Young Conservative") and you have a whole slew of family problems no one ever could've envisioned. That being said, I do need Free Republic to keep my sanity in this hellish world, but even I can go a couple days here and there, for gosh sake.

So compared to some, I'm a youngster. And we are using a relative scale, right?

My only real concern is that probably 60-70% of that total has been done from work and THAT could be a problem. Of course now that work is getting more interesting I'm sure I'll be able to stop. But then again, here I am! And it's not even an election year! OMG, get me to a 12 step program! I just hope my wife doesn't find out.
