The appointment of Susan Kennedy as Chief of Staff to the Governor is a betrayal of the hard working activists that supported the Governor during the recent special election. Kennedy has a track record as an active partisan Democrat that has worked contrary to Republican candidates and beliefs.
Those of us who supported the recall of Gray Davis now find one of his top operatives, Susan Kennedy as the leader of Schwarzenegger staff. Not only did she work for Davis, but Kennedy is plagued by her involvement in the Oracle scandal.
This is a dangerous false start for the Governor, not a fresh start.
The California Republican Assembly Board of Directors will be voting on a resolution calling for the California Republican Party's withdrawal of their pre-primary endorsement of the Governor.
Go file a complaint!
"Moderates easily swayed by union advertising."
Oh, like the Unions were not going to try to defeat those props if Arnold did not support them ...
sure, that explains everything ...
Why? If I cared, I would have done that a long time ago.
What it explains is that your precious swing voters are easily swayed. Arnold failed to move them, and in fact, has probably alienated them with his failure to adhere to his promises. Hence the one ballot measure that was his alone, Prop. 76, did worst among those he claimed to sponsor.
All this time. And you didn't really care. I'm crushed. /sarcasm>
" the one ballot measure that was his alone, Prop. 76, did worst among those he claimed to sponsor"
That same prop 76 that you didn't vote for ?
Are you saying you didn't vote for it specifically because of Arnold ?
Since the liberals were aginst it, I'm surprised that you joined with them in opposing it.
Yup.
Are you saying you didn't vote for it specifically because of Arnold ?
Nope.
Since the liberals were aginst it, I'm surprised that you joined with them in opposing it.
Broken clocks. I had ample reason for opposing it.
I'm done with this thread. You just keep searching for another angle and fail to answer anything. Your precious moderates voted against the propositions or didn't show. Conservatives supported at least 73-5 but it wasn't enough.
Arnold blew it, as predicted. Now he's behaving like the petulant child he's always been. Deal with it.
Davis is too to pro-death penalty. The governor has a more moderate position.
"I'm done with this thread. You just keep searching for another angle and fail to answer anything. "
You seem to have failed to realize that just because YOU say something, it dosen't make it so.
But once again, let's pretend that you are correct in this statement - "Your precious moderates voted against the propositions or didn't show."
It appears you are finally admitting that WITHOUT these "precious moderates" conservative props LOSE.
So, your choice is to LOSE over and over, or find some way to get these precious voters out to vote on your side.
Reality... what a concept ! Deal with it or be marginalized again.
"When the next crisis comes, the Governor will find a new appreciation among Californians for what he was trying to do in this election, and a more receptive electorate to do so in the next."
