Bubp also later said that he never asked Schmidt to send Murtha a message. IOW, Schmidt played fast and loose with Bubp's communication.

This was not a helpful thing for Schmidt to do, and it will likely cost her her seat next year.

You're quite right on this one. I'm hearing that Bubp is going to campaign for Schmidt's primary opponent, who will actually be more conservative than Schmidt anyway.

Do tell. We're supposed to feeling chummy with liberals undermining our country at every turn because we can't get things done without them? Our job is to speak truth to power and unlike the Democrats repeated lies and character assassination attacks every day that we witness, Jean Schmidt told the truth. The Democrats are traitors and cowards and we sure as hell shouldn't let those spine-less jello-s walk away with this disloyalty and contempt towards their own country. Name me the last time a Democrat behaved honorably. People who behave with politeness and respect deserve the same courtesy in kind but the people who attack Bush as Hitler and Cheney as a tool of Haliburton day in and day out get no quarters from me.
